39 Weeks

Went to my weekly Dr's appointment on Thursday morning and saw Dr. Austin since Dr. McKernan was out of town. I just let her know that the last few nights were difficult for me to sleep since I had a lot of muscle discomfort in my hips when I slept on my sides. When she checked me she said I was a 3!!! I was really excited because I was still a 2 last time I went into labor with Aubrey. Needless to say that Thursday night I was awake from 12-2 in the morning feeling painful contractions; however, they weren't consistent. I was able to go back to bed and work the next day too. I did end up making that my last day of work in hopes of Kadence coming over the weekend!

Kadence hasn't come yet : ( I was so hopeful over the weekend, but I didn't have anymore contractions like I had Thursday night. I also was having heart burn that night so, so that must've been why I had the contractions. I've tried walking a lot over the weekend and I would only get the Braxton Hicks contractions. Sunday night I went and bought some castor oil, but I basically chickened out and didn't take it. I really don't want to be sitting on the toilet and I don't want to harm Kadence if she's not ready to come out. I've been a little more comfortable lately, however I got my shins sun burned really, really bad. It hurt really bad for a few days when I'd walk, almost like my legs were bruised.

I only had Monday off of work before going back since I was needed. After a day off and a weekend of no Kadence like I'd hoped, I didn't want to waste any more time off than needed. We'll see how long I last now...
