At the beginning of the week I had my appointment with Deb, the PA, to go over hospital information and start checking me for dilation. I waited forever, just sitting there uncomfortably with the little paper napkin covering me! When she finally came in, she checked the heartbeat which sounded good and then did the culture for strep B. She checked me and it felt soooooo uncomfortable like she was digging for gold in there. Deb told me I was 1 cm, so I'm excited that I'm starting to make some progress now!
I told Austin that we should really start to kick things up a notch and get more prepared for delivery day. We need to get plans ready for who will watch Aubrey and where, get a bag out to pack her stuff for a few days, pack our hospital bag too. We really need to clean out the base of the old carseat- eek, stuff gets really dirty after just once baby!
I've had some rough nights with my hips hurting really bad at night and when I turn over from side to side, my hips or something has a deep "pop".
Within the last few days, I've started to see this countdown clock, ticking in my head that the end is almost near and I've really got to get prepared! It's weighing heavily on my mind, I'm not going to be at work much longer and I've got to get some appointments and errands run before Kadence arrives since I won't know when I'd get to do it next...
