8 weeks left!!! And let the heartburn really begin! After I eat lunch somedays, the heartburn really kicks in a few hours later and lasts 3-4 hours. I'm surprised I will get heartburn because I take the Tums everyday. This could all be because Aubrey is definitely getting bigger in there- I can tell! Some days there's more pressure of her body and it feels like I can actually notice the weight difference.
Super funny story (be prepared to laugh)..................
Austin will always wrap his arm around my belly in the mornings because she's started being active early mornings when I wake up. Well, last weekend Austin rolled over to put his hand under my belly... only he thought he put his hand on my belly. He cupped my butt!!! It wasn't until I actually grabbed his hand to have him feel Aubrey move that he noticed he was in the wrong place! We had a good laugh and I still crack up about it!
When I'm driving to and from work, Aubrey moves a little bit. I'll look down and see little waves move across my belly. Sometimes when I'm sitting at my desk and feel her move, I'll look down and she stops! It's like a little game. When I have lunch at work, I'll sit there and she starts moving a lot. Almost never fails after I have food!
Monday night we celebrated Austin's Dad's 50th birthday with family and friends. Everyone was clapping after we sang "Happy Birthday" and Vic clapped SO loud (he was sitting right by me) I felt Aubrey give a BIG kick! It was pretty neat to know she had a reaction to the outside world.
