19 Weeks

End of last week, I bought a stethoscope from Walmart to see if I would be able to hear the heartbeat of the baby. I think it's still too early to hear it, but it's really funny to listen to the noises going on inside of me!

I was really paranoid and nervous that I wasn't feeling the baby in over a week. People were telling me not to worry, that it's still early. But to go from feeling flutters to nothing worried me. So, every night I would listen with the stethoscope to see if I could hear anything.

It wasn't until Monday night that I felt it. I was listening with the stethoscope, then I gave the ear pieces to Austin to listen while I held the other end on my belly. I felt something, but kind of brushed it off. Then, all of a sudden, this big kick!!! I've never felt anything like it before! Austin looked at me and I looked at him with this huge confused smile and he's like, "Was that a kick?" It was a great moment for us to share. Later on that night, Austin put his ear to my belly just to listen, and it kicked him again!!! Our lil' baby likes to kick when Daddy's around!!
