17 Weeks

Amazing week!!!! Sunday night 4/5, Austin and I were watching tv and all of a sudden I felt two little flutter kicks next to my belly button! Then Monday I felt it maybe 3 times throughout the day. Austin says I try to rationalize what I feel because I kinda shrug it off like "oh, it was just a muscle spasm!" It was really exciting to actually be able to feel our baby moving!

Monday was also kinda rough for me. I felt a line of tightness or something acrossthe top of my belly. Later that night, Austin wanted to feel my belly and to our surprise, my belly felt harder than it's ever felt before! He also said it looked like I grew since

the time I got home! Maybe my belly is going through a growth spurt!

I'm dying to find out the sex of the baby so we can start to register for things. I can envision the perfect nursery for a girl with colors and everything in the house, but I haven't looked much for boy things. I will not leave the Dr.'s office until I find out the sex next time!!!

Also I've started to experience some shortness of breath, which I read is normal.
