17 Weeks

At the beginning of this week I was still kind of shocked that we were having another girl. I was 95% convinced it was going to be a boy this time because I've felt different from the last pregnancy. My hair was still growing, nails growing, had lots and lots of cravings- all food sounds good! Now I'm thinking that since these pregnancies are different, my two girls are going to be opposites! I think we may be in for a wild ride but it'll be an adventure! I was going through Aubrey's room and making room for her new clothes and started to put her old clothes in the new baby's room. It was then that I realized that having another girl was going to be good because we already have a lot of girl things, all the clothes, bows, etc. There's very little new things we'll need- new furniture, bedding, some blankets and burp cloths. Not too bad. Since we were thinking of having a boy, we spent our time looking at boy names. Austin and I actually agreed quickly on a first name, but we're having difficulty coming up with a middle name. We're not going to release the name until we have a full name. Trying to get creative with another middle name is proving to be very difficult!
I think I've felt the baby early this week too, little flutters while I was at lunch one day against my belt buckle. I've actually felt her moving a few more times this week too. It definitely starts to make it more real. My belly is starting to really fill out my clothes now. I've also contracted a virus similar to the cold, an upper respiratory infection and have to be careful of my kissing Aubrey and Austin because it's contagious. Being sick and pregnant is no fun. It's more difficult for me to get better because I'm too scared to take medicine while being pregnant. I really don't want to take anything that could harm the baby, even if the doctor says it's ok. I', stubborn!
Spoke too soon- Aubrey has gotten my sickness, poor girl. I feel bad.
