2 months

Wow, how time flies after having a baby! Aubrey is now 2 months old! She has been the best baby (with only a few bad days).

She's started smiling a lot at everyone just this last week. Aubrey loves bath time and when I sing the Splish Splash song she just kicks her legs and splashes everywhere! She's starting to stretch longer at night between feedings, we only get up once in the night now. She'll eat her last meal at 5 or so, sleep at 8:30 or 9 and getting up at 4 or 4:30. She'll go back to sleep until 7 or later!

Aubrey is just a joy to have around. I love watching her sleep, she's so peaceful. One day I was cutting her fingernails because they grow so fast, and I cut her finger. She was bleeding and crying and I felt so bad. My mom was holding her while I was trimming. Once Aubrey was in my arms she started to calm down. It melts my heart knowing that she knows who I am and I can console her.

Aubrey has had a few play dates already. Alec is 4 months older than Aubrey and Autumn is 3 weeks younger than Aubrey.

HALLOWEEN 2009

Aubrey had her 2 month check up and now weighs 10 1/2 lbs, 21 1/2 inches and her head is 14 1/2 inches. She got her shots and I have to say she did pretty well! She cried a couple of times in the afternoon, but she didn't get a fever and still slept through the night! I'm so proud of her, she's a strong baby!
