24 Weeks

Austin and I painted the nursery for our little girl and so far the color is amazing. It turned out just how we wanted. There's still more work that we need to do to make it exactly what we want, but we still have plenty of time.

I am such a work horse. I need to learn to slow it down sometimes, but that's hard for me to do. One day it really hurt for me to get up from my chair at work on my lower right side. I don't know if I worked it too hard the night before cleaning the house prepping it for our move in. I rested the next day and I haven't felt it since.

Baby is still kickin'!!!!! I fell asleep on the couch one night and Austin woke me up telling me that she was kicking him. I said, "No." He had put his ear to my belly and apparently she gave him a hard kick, and few little ones, and then another big kick. I didn't even feel it, I must have been soooo tired.

We had our Dr. appointment this week too. We were there forever again because the Dr. was running behind, so we just saw the assistant, which still took forever. I have gained a total of 13 pounds at the start of my 6th month. Not too bad, but it caught up to me this time! Nothing really exciting came from this appointment. Next time I have to do the diabetes test.

She's been a very active and fun baby this week, kicking and moving a lot. A few times I've been sitting and she starts moving, so Austin puts his hand there to feel her. She kicks, he pushes back, she kicks, he pushes back! It's so cute that they play together!!!
